Richmond International Raceway Porsche Auto-X

Richmond International Raceway for the regional Porsche Club of America Auto-x Event.
Held on the nascar oval had some great thrills for those drivers willing to turn left….and right
Speeds over 100mph were achieved on the straights, while the steep banking played some tricks on your suspension and perception.
Team Traqmate tested a Traqmate unit in a C6 Z06 and doing some beta testing for our upcoming software release.
Plenty of fine machinery was on had at this event.

Road Atlanta Traqmate Test Day
by Administrator on May.22, 2006, under Events, News, Traqmate Testing
Team Traqmate was in attendance over the weekend at the Panoz track-day at Road Atlanta. Two cars were running Traqmate’s, Dan and his Lotus Elise and a Very Powerful GT2 driven by Cleve Meredith, Cleve’s GT2 struggled to lay the 630RWHP to the pavement once the track temps began to rise. Both drivers mentioned the tires feeling greasy after a few laps.

Dan’s Exhaust got a great heat patina to it after the event

Plenty of Flames shot out of this beautiful tip throughout the day
It was a great event, with no broken cars or major incidents. Thanks again to Dan and Cleve for running Traqmate’s in their cars.
Sebring 2006
by Administrator on Mar.20, 2006, under Events, News, Traqmate Testing
Team Traqmate was down in Sebring for the 12hour endurance race, running the Lotus Eleven in the Vintage race on Friday and staying for the Enduro on Saturday. Watching the massive field of GT3 Cup cars on Friday was outstanding, great driving and fantastic howl out of the flat sixes. The World GT race that followed featured some new faces as well; the new Z06 was dominant with an unusually high-pitched V8 that screamed as it pulled away from its competitors. Even a Nissan GTR made a short appearance on track, 26psi made short work of the car, which didn’t last the race.

HyperSport and Traqmate at Road Atlanta
by Administrator on Mar.06, 2006, under Events, News, Traqmate Testing
Hypersport of Atlanta was at Road Atlanta this past weekend testing out their prototype turbocharged Lotus Elise and a new Exige. Team Traqmate installed Traqmate’s in both vehicles to see what 285hp to the wheels in a 1900lb car can really do. Comparing a basically stock Elise to Hypersports turbo car on the strait really shows what boost can do! With our easy to use software you can quickly compare the two cars, while Hypersports cars entry speed was significantly slower entering the strait, its exit speed over the segment was 9mph faster, before the driver let off. With the right driver Hypersports car is devastatingly fast!

Exige was on hand as well.

The new program is available for free download from the traqmate.com website in the User Support Forum, on the Product Page or by clicking here.

Traqmate Second Production Run
by Administrator on Jul.25, 2005, under News, Traqmate Testing
The launch of the Traqmate GPS Data Acquisition System has been so successful that just a few weeks after launch, Track Systems has commissioned a second build in order to meet demand.

‘Response to this product has been fantastic’, said Brian Boyer of Track Systems. ‘This build is three times larger than our first run and we are already planning the next one.’

Traqmates are built on an automated manufacturing line in the United States. After assembly, each unit is completely tested and calibrated by a qualified technician.

Traqmate is available direct at traqmate.com or from select dealers throughout the US.
